Cartis Group Rebrands the Council of Chief State School Officers in Washington DC – CCSSO Poised to Help State Education Leaders Improve Education
Cartis Group recently helped the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) launch a refreshed brand. The work included a new brand strategy, logo, identity system, brand collateral, and a new Website. Using its anthropological branding process, BrandSmart, Cartis Group helped CCSSO develop a unified brand vision for the entire organization. This unifying brand strategy was then developed into a messaging architecture and new brand collateral. ”We have been very impressed with the way (Cartis Group) is able to engage every employee in the process, and pull information and ideas out of each of them that makes the (entire process) better.”
CCSSO is an 81 year-old Washington, DC based organization. It is a nonpartisan, nationwide, nonprofit organization of public officials who head departments of elementary and secondary education in the states, the District of Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity, and five U.S. extra-state jurisdictions. CCSSO provides leadership, advocacy, and technical assistance on major educational issues.
